A group of supervillains are recruited to do a mission for the government. Steven Yeun was originally cast as Robert Reynolds/Sentry. However, after filming was delayed due to SAG-AFTRA strikes (2023), Yeun dropped out due to scheduling conflicts and was later replaced by Lewis Pullman. He later expressed disappointment that he would not be able to star in the film and hopes to be cast in another Marvel film. He appeared in the cast of Crazy Cartoon AniMat: The D23 Expo 2022 Special (2022)
